The Butterfly Dreamers and Their Families Support Network was founded by Cindy Garcia, Salvador Garcia Jr., Miguel Angel Medina, and Veronica Diaz.
We are more than advocates—we have lived this journey ourselves.
Each of us brings a unique perspective shaped by our own immigration experiences:
🦋 Cindy Garcia is a Lawful Permanent Resident who understands the challenges, uncertainty, and hope that come with navigating the immigration system.
🦋 Veronica Diaz is a proud U.S. citizen who continues to advocate for immigrant families and is dedicated to empowering dreams within our community through education.
🦋 Miguel Angel Medina is a DACA recipient, identifying as one of the Daca Butterfly Dreamers; he understands firsthand the realities of living with temporary protection while continuing to build a future in the United States.
🦋 Salvador Garcia Jr. is a U.S. citizen who has stood beside family members and friends throughout their immigration journeys. His perspective reminds us that supporting immigrant families is a shared responsibility.

We created the Butterfly Dreamers and Their Families Support Network because we know how overwhelming immigration can feel. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming community where individuals and families can find educational resources, practical guidance, emotional support, and encouragement from people who genuinely understand the journey.
